Here’s what the Iraq War has gotten America: Exxon Mobil Corp. reported second-quarter earnings of $11.68 billion Thursday, the biggest quarterly profit ever by any U.S. corporation. So if Exxon Mobil cut their prices in half, they would have made earnings of almost $6 billion, which is still better than either Exxon or Mobil ever did prior to 2001. Why isn’t gas regulated? Why is the Enron loophole still in effect? Why aren’t oil revenue paying for the war like the Bush administration promised?
